The Mousetrap Product and Food Photography Session

The Mousetrap is a family-owned and operated specialty food, kitchen, and tabletop shop located in Lexington, Kentucky. They also focus on cheese and custom-made gift baskets for special occasions. The Mousetrap is famous for its delicious pimento cheese. The Mousetrap wanted to do a brand photography session to have updated images for their website, social media, and marketing materials.

During our consultation with the Mousetrap, we came up with a plan to photograph a variety of their dishes. They even included a little silver mouse with each dish to their branding into each photo. The Mousetrap’s top priority was that we provide images that helped elevate their customer’s experience with food through eating, cooking, and entertaining. The Mousetrap’s branding included Keeneland green, black, and white. We made sure to switch up backgrounds and tabletops to keep with their brand while also giving the images a deli-style atmosphere. We wanted to capture the colors and various types of dishes that the Mousetrap has to offer.
