Brand Photography Session for First Dance Lexington

First Dance Lexington is owned by Danielle Dunmire and is based in Lexington, Kentucky. Danielle teaches one-on-one dance lessons in her home studio with customized choreography for weddings, date nights, and even flashmobs. She wanted to do a brand photography session to boost her business’ marketing and create brand awareness. It was essential to her that she showcases photos of her studio and customer experience. Danielle wanted to use the images for her website, social media, and marketing material at bridal shows.

We set up a phone call with Danielle to discuss everything she was hoping to capture during her brand photography session. We came up with three different storylines to photograph on the day of her shoot. The first storyline involved a couple visiting her studio and learning to dance. We captured her client’s experience from them walking into her studio, the dance lesson, and even sharing some champaign. The second storyline showed Danielle working from her home studio. She wanted her clients to see a little behind the scenes of her dancing several dance styles that she is an expert in. For the third and final storyline, we focused on Danielle and her family. We captured her dancing with her boyfriend and snuggling with her sweet dog.
